Pricing

For exemplification purposes, we will use a flat rate of USD $0.10 per target language word count (rate will vary based on volume, repeat business, difficulty, turnaround time, etc). Keep in mind that when translating from English into a romance language (Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian…), an approximate 20% must be added to the final word count.

So, if your original (source) document is in English and contains 10,000 words, your Portuguese (target) document will contain approximately 12,000 words – in this sample scenario – a standard fee for this particular job would be USD $1,200

Turnaround Time

Since this is what we do on a fulltime basis; our schedule is flexible and adaptable to the demands of our customers.

A normal translation volume is approximately 3,500 – 4,000 words per day, however, depending on the circumstances and client demands, we can accommodate greater volumes! Quality is NEVER compromised.

It is important to note that additional time may be allotted in order to capture the authors tone/intent and also for necessary research that may be required for more difficult translation topics.

Payment

To facilitate remittance from our overseas clients, we accept payments via “PayPal”.
U.S. based clients with established relationships may also pay via corporate checks.

Confidentiality

After having worked for the U.S. Government in a classified position and participated in many government contracts as a freelance translator, we fully understand and are equipped to handle classified documents.

File Formats

Documents are accepted in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF. If you are working in other formats, we will do our best to accommodate.
